Are there cheats in GTA 6?

Rockstar has not published any GTA 6 cheat codes, and the game isn't out until November 19, 2026. Lists of "GTA 6 cheats" you find right now are guesses or GTA V codes with a new title. We say which is which. More in does GTA 6 have cheats?

Cheats are still very likely. Every single-player GTA so far has shipped with them, from the first games to GTA V. When the real codes are out, they replace the list above with PS5, Xbox and PC inputs.

How GTA cheats work on PS5, Xbox and PC

GTA V has three ways to enter a cheat. GTA 6 is likely to use some of them.

  • PS5 and Xbox: press a button combo during play. Each cheat is a sequence of 7 to 16 inputs. See the PS5 cheats and Xbox Series X|S cheats.
  • PC: press the ~ key to open the cheat console, type a code like PAINKILLER and press Enter. See the PC cheats.
  • In-game phone: dial a cheat number on the character's phone. This works on every platform. Full list: phone cheat numbers.

Cheats only work in story mode. In GTA V, using one turns off trophies and achievements for that session, so reload your save if you are hunting for them.

Is there a GTA 6 money cheat?

Not that we know of. GTA V never had a money cheat in story mode, and sites that promise one for GTA 6 are making it up. We only list cheats that work. See GTA 6 money cheat for the full answer and real ways to make money.

What are the GTA 6 cheat codes for PS5?
