What's confirmed
Nothing yet. Rockstar hasn't published cheat codes or talked about cheats for GTA 6. There is no official cheat list, and there can't be a tested one until the game unlocks on November 19, 2026.
Why cheats are likely
Every main GTA with a story mode has shipped with cheats. Only the way you enter them has changed:
| Game | How cheats work |
|---|---|
| GTA III (2001) | Button combos on console, typed codes on PC |
| GTA Vice City (2002) | Button combos on console, typed codes on PC |
| GTA San Andreas (2004) | Button combos on console, typed codes on PC |
| GTA IV (2008) | Phone numbers on every platform |
| GTA V (2013) | Button combos, PC console and phone numbers |
| GTA 6 (2026) | Not confirmed |
How to spot fake GTA 6 cheats
- The list is dated before November 19, 2026 and calls itself "confirmed" or "verified".
- The codes match GTA V exactly. Compare them with our GTA V list.
- It promises unlimited money. GTA V never had a money cheat. See the money cheat page.
- It asks you to download an app or log in to get the codes.
What happens on launch day
Players start testing as soon as the game unlocks. Once cheats are confirmed, our cheat list switches to the GTA 6 codes, with pages for PS5, Xbox Series X|S and phone numbers. PC comes later, as GTA 6 has no PC date yet.
